Abstract

Anesthesiologists are often encountered an arrhythmia during general anesthesia. Sometimes ventricular arrhythmia may threaten the patient condition to be fatal.
On the other hand, anesthesiologists experience that an arrhythmia which existed pre-operatively may disappear during and after the general anesthesia.
In most of the cases, after the general anesthesia the pre-operative arrhythmia may reappear.
Again, authors experienced one of such patient who had had an arrhythmia pre-operatively which recovered normal rhythm during and after the general anesthesia that we reported already,
In this case, pre-operative ventricular premature contraction was disappeared during and after the general anesthesia until 11th post-operative day.
At this moment, the mechanism of the disappearance of arrhythmia during general anesthesia is not clearly known, but should be clearlyfied by further investigations.
